Pendra is a ten-year-old trained by Charlie Longsdon, and is set to run in the Randox Health Grand National for the second time in his career on April 14, 2018. A decent 13th in the 2016 renewal, this veteran will be one of a number of JP McManus-owned runners bidding for glory, but he will need to improve on his recent outings to feature prominently.

VERDICT: Down the field in the 2016 Grand National, Pendra has only been seen on the track once this season, where he finished out the places in the Kim Muir Handicap Chase, so it's hard to see him landing any significant blow on his second attempt at the Aintree showpiece.
