Triolo D'Alene Betting
Triolo D'Alene will be making his second appearance at the Grand National, but the Nicky Henderson-trained nine-year-old will be hoping to improve on his 2014 attempt, where he was pulled up, but the former Hennessy Gold Cup winner will be a notable contender if he can produce his best form on April 9.

A former Hennessy Gold Cup winner, Triolo D'Alene has often struggled to reach those lofty heights over fences, and having pulled up in the 2014 Grand National, he's set to have another cracking at the Aintree marathon on April 9 and aim to hand Nicky Henderson his first win in the race as a trainer.
The Seven Barrows inmate kicked off his campaign with a fine victory in the three-runner renewal of Kempton Park's Listed William Hill Chase in early January, as he returned to the winner's enclosure for the first time since his 2013 Hennessy win.
He was then handed the tough task of Grade 1 company next time out in the Betfair Ascot Chase, and he was unable to live Silvniaco Conti, who bounded to glory, but Henderson's nine-year-old will aim to reverse that form when the pair do battle on Merseyside for a vintage renewal of the world's greatest steeplechase.

VERDICT: Triolo D'Alene failed to land a blow on his last appearance in the Grand National, and while he seems to have rekindled his form this season, it's hard to see him landing a blow here as he aims to hand Nicky Henderson his first win in the race.
