In addition to Tricky Trickster, trainer, Paul Nicholls looks set to name Big Fella Thanks as a second runner in the Grand National. Sixth in the race last year, behind Mon Mome, when ridden by Christian Williams, this 8 year old is a very progressive handicapper who will come on leaps and bounds following his second place behind Carruthers in the Mandarin Graduation Chase at Newbury at the end of 2009.
A very sound jumper who can stay the ‘National’ trip, he is very highly regarded by the Nicholls team who are mounting a strong challenge to claim their first National this season.
The horse is owned by Paul Barber and Harry Findlay, who could also have the great Denman in the race. His odds are as short as 16/1 with some Bookmakers but punters can still get 25/1 in the 2010 Grand National Antepost betting market.
