2010 Grand National Winner Don't Push It

2010 Grand National

This race will go down in history as it was the first win in the Grand Nationalfor multiple champion jockey Tony 'AP' McCoy, at the fourteenth attempt. The horse which enabled McCoy to realise his dream was the Jonjo O'Neill trained Don't Push It, owned by JP McManus and subject to a major gamble on the day, which saw him go off the 10/1 joint favourite.

Second in the race was the Dessie Hughes trained Black Apalachi but McCoy looked like the winner as soon as he leapt the last fence. Also placing for each-way backers were Stae Of Play and Big Fella Thanks, whilst Hello Bud finished fifth for those bookmakers offering five place each-way terms on the Grand National.
