2002 Grand National Winner Bindaree

2002 Grand National

Bindaree an eight year became the second winner of the Grand National for trainer, Nigel Twiston-Davies after a battle royal up the run in with Whats Up Boys, trained by Phillip Hobbs. The two went well clear of the field after the last but it was Bindaree at 20/1 who held on the better to win by just under two lengths. Twiston-Davies had won the race with the great Earth Summit in 1998.
